The Community Discount Drug Card

is for EVERYONE - not just the un-insured...

  • provides discounts on drugs not covered by your insurance plan that you have to pay for yourself.

  • provide discounts during a gap in your prescription plan, sometimes referred to as a donut hole.

  • saves money when getting your pets' prescriptions filled at your local participating pharmacy.

  • use while you're working to meet a high deductible before your plan coverage kicks in.

  • use with a health savings account (HSA).

  • to give to someone else you know that doesn't have any kind of prescription insurance at all.

• Keep your card handy in your purse or wallet for future use for you, other members of your immediate family, or your pets.

Print more cards to give to others (regardless of their location, anywhere in the U.S.A.). Don't forget extended family members, your pastor and church members, friends and neighbors, employees and business associates, your medical doctor and vet clinic.

Cardholder Testimonies

I recently had surgery the pain meds from Walmart's Pharmacy in Petoskey were $40. I paid just $28 by using my Community Discount Drug Card.  Not bad for a card I paid nothing to get.  Thank you.

Diane, from Petoskey, MI uses her card regularly at Walmart's Pharmacy to save money.

I’ve just been diagnosed with maybe having Lupus and or Fibromyalgia. My prescriptions were $173 and $12 respectively, yet my total cost was with your card was only $56 – $127 less than what I was going to pay. We can't thank you enough because we already have an out of pocket bill of $500 for blood work, on top of that price of the specialist.

Anita, from Jacksonville, FL is using money she saved to help with the grandkids.

Other Ways to Reduce Your Rx Costs

Ask Your Doctor About Generics vs. Name-Brand
Generic drugs offer savings over brand drugs. Ask your doctor or pharmacist to switch from your current prescription to a generic and if a generic medicine will work for you.

Free Doctor's Samples
Doctors often get samples from the drug companies. When your doctor prescribes a medication, ask for free samples.

Ask Your Doctor About Different Dosing Options
You might be able to save money by purchasing a 90-day supply of your medicine instead of a 30-day supply. Also, your doctor and pharmacist might be able to prescribe higher-dosage pills that can be split.
NOTE: Never split pills without first checking with your doctor and pharmacist!

Compare Drug Prices at Local Pharmacies

Many pharmacies will give the discounted price of your prescription over the phone.  They'll need three pieces of information from your card: the Group #, BIN # (008878); and the Processor (Netcard Systems/Rx West).
